Azerbaijan and Serbia Explore Key Areas of Strategic Partnership

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov visited Belgrade and met with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric. The two ministers held an expanded-format meeting to discuss various aspects of their countries’ strategic partnership.

They reviewed a wide range of topics, including political, security, economic, energy, and humanitarian issues. Both sides expressed satisfaction with their mutual support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministers also highlighted their productive collaboration within regional and international platforms. The partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia continues to grow, benefiting from shared interests and mutual respect.

FM Bayramov shared updates with Minister Djuric regarding the ongoing peace and normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He also outlined the challenges still facing the peace efforts, stressing the importance of continued dialogue.

The meeting underscored the strong bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Serbia. Both countries are committed to deepening their cooperation across various sectors to ensure regional stability and prosperity.
