Co-organized by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Azerbaijani Embassy in the country, an extensive presentation highlighting Azerbaijan`s economic accomplishments and favorable investment opportunities has been held in Estonia.
The “B2B Education Forum”, held as part of the “LEF Network Azerbaijan” project (Latvia, Estonia, Finland), co-organized by the Caspian Energy Club and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku, saw the participation of representatives from leading Estonian companies.
Addressing the event, Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mait Palts noted that the issues and topics discussed would provide additional impetus for greater representation of Estonian companies in Azerbaijan. He emphasized their readiness to cooperate closely with the embassy in this regard.
Recalling his participation in the LEF Network Azerbaijan project together with colleagues from Finland and Latvia, Mait Palts highlighted the main task of the project, which is to develop joint support – service platform for export development from Finland, Estonia and Latvia to Azerbaijan.
Highlighting the conductive conditions for continuous economic growth and investment in Azerbaijan, Ambassador to Estonia Anar Maharramov provided insight into recent measures implemented in the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country.
The diplomat underscored that ensuring the continuous development of the non-oil sector, enlarging entrepreneurial activity, and increasing the level of employment are among the main priorities of Azerbaijan`s economic policy.
The ambassador also mentioned goals, including attracting investors providing services using innovative technologies and contributing to the dynamic and sustainable development of the country’s economy through cooperation with Azerbaijani companies, resulting in the creation of tens of thousands of new workplaces.
Anar Maharramov provided detailed information about the investment opportunities in Azerbaijan`s liberated territories and industrial parks, highlighting the activities of the “Aghdam Industrial Park” and “Araz Valley Economic Zone” industrial parks.
Representatives of leading Estonian companies were invited to benefit from the investment opportunities available in Azerbaijan.
