Javier Colomina, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, has welcomed the statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan on exchange of detainees.
“I welcome the joint statement by Armenia & Azerbaijan announcing the mutual release of detainees, other confidence building measures & a clear commitment to reach a long awaited peace deal,” Colomina wrote on X, former Twitter.
He added that NATO strongly supports these efforts and the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
