The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia ratified, with unanimous 95 votes in favor, the agreement between the governments of Armenia and India on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters. Hakob Arshakyan, deputy speaker of the NA of Armenia, noted this on Facebook Monday.
“As the head of the Armenian-Indian parliamentary friendship group, I attach importance to the deepening of relations with India. This is an important step also on the way to the implementation of the Crossroads of Peace project [of Armenia].
The National Assembly is taking steps also towards the development of parliamentary relations between Armenia and India,” added the vice-speaker of the Armenian legislature.
