Russian Troops Attacked the Poltava Region of Ukraine: Three People Were Killed, Five More Were Injured


On the night of August 28, Russian troops hit an oil production enterprise in the village of Gogolevo, Mirgorodsky district of the Poltava region, as a result of which, according to mid-day data, three people were killed. 

As Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko reported on Telegram : “As a result of a Russian strike on an oil mill in the Poltava region, three people were killed. Another one is considered missing. We are looking for.”

According to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, five people who worked on the night shift were injured.

Lunin previously reported that the Russian strike completely destroyed the production shop. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with sea- and air-based missiles: four Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea and two Kh-59 guided missiles from two Su-34 aircraft. Two Kalibr missiles and two Kh-59 missiles were allegedly destroyed.
