A tragic incident took place Sunday at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan, reports shamshyan.com. At around 9:30am on that day, a report was received from the aforesaid airport to the latter’s police department that a person had died on a plane.
Police and investigators who arrive at the scene found out that Russian citizen Sh. Aghekyan, 65, had died suddenly during the flight from Novosibirsk, Russia to Yerevan.
External examination found no traces of violence on the body. The investigation department of Zvartnots airport launched criminal proceedings into this incident. Also, a forensic medical examination of the body has been ordered.
