Some opposition figures and media have been attempting to disseminate fake news about snap parliamentary elections for a long time. Taron Chakhoyan Deputy Chief of Staff of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, wrote this on Facebook.
“The talk about the prime minister’s resignation and snap [parliamentary] elections is completely false, there is not even such a discussion. Disseminating false talk about snap [parliamentary] elections by the opposition is another unsuccessful attempt to play with the public’s emotions in order to later blame the authorities for not going to snap [parliamentary] elections and attempt to form a new street movement,” Chakhoyan added.
